Do you want that favor of God that makes you do supernatural exploits and prosper beyond measure in every area of your life? Do you desire to reach a place in God where He will say to you, ‘This is my beloved servant in whom I am well pleased!’ and the heavens open upon you? There are times when, as servants of God, we compromise our ethics and biblical principles just to be politically correct; we are afraid to call spade a spade just to keep members and increase cash flow, and then we lose the mighty hand of God in our endeavors. We have legitimized our weekly religious rites and customs by convincing ourselves and the congregation that being excellent in theatrics and performance in our worship service is the way to true Christianity whilst on the other hand, we ignore intimacy with Jesus Christ who is the author, finisher and perfecter of our faith and the Bridegroom. Therefore, we have lost the power that makes us Christians with dominion, goodly inheritance, riches and honor. God is calling us back to true accountability and intimacy with Him, to start doing things according to His wills irrespective of our personal ambitions, so that His power can manifest His glory and favor upon our lives to become prosperous in every area as He intends for us. We need to die to ourselves and let Christ be known.
