Many at times we come to the edge of faith in our own lives. We are not sure where things are headed and whilst we are at our wits ends, it just becomes too risky to jump out of the boat of our comfort and walk on a raging sea into what we consider to be our dream. I remember at a point in my life I reach such state of dilemma when I was believing God for healing from a heart problem.. Since I was a child I’ve always had difficulty breathing. I lived in constant pain and seclusion from my friends to the extend that I was literally barred from participating in any extra curricular activities in school.
When I was 17, the doctors diagnosed me with a rare heart condition that did not have a name. I was given an inhaler to use to help my breathing difficulties yet I did not have asthma. They ran test upon test upon test yet could not diagnose exactly the problem. It felt I was in prison because I didn’t want this kind of lifestyle and I knew it was the will of God for me to be whole.
Well I woke up one day and decided that I’ve had enough; I wasn’t going to be a prisoner to any heart or breathing problems so i did what i knew would make me free and which was to throw away the inhaler that sustained me. As risky as this was, i knew if I really want to be free I had to take some drastic measures and that was what i did. Now think of the worst thing that could have happened to me: what if I pass out? What if I stop breathing? You see the devil had the list but God also had an answer, what if I get healed? What if that was my step to freedom.
And that was the last time, i had or experienced any heart problem. Its been 5 years now am I am completely whole! I ask myself daily, what was really hindering me from walking in my healing? Why didn’t I realize this sooner? You see all this time the healing was available for me and God wanted me to take the step of faith and he met me at my most vulnerable state which was too risky.
My friends, Christianity is a risky lifestyle of obedience and faith in Jesus. Living a life of faith will demand you to yield your vulnerability as God will challenge you to push beyond your limits. But without faith, it is also impossible to please Him thus I challenge you today to step up and out of your limit and comfort zone and do what God is demanding of you. Sooner or later, you will realize that your miracle was waiting on you all these while. With God all things are possible! He is waiting on you to take the baby steps and see God work on your behalf.
GOD IS STILL IN THE HEALING & MIRACLE BUSINESS! CALL UPON HIM NOW & HE WILL COME AND SAVE YOU.
